I'm used to get a very good B3 sound by my Electro using a Xotic AC Booster (the yellow one). It's totally analogic sound, very warm and dynamic..Electro himself has not a good response on high frequencies so I add a graphic equalizer. You can equalize the sound before or after the booster distorsion, the choice is yours.Just experiment.Obviously the whole think works only if you use an ampli for you Electro, something like a Vox or a Bogera or a Fender Reverb. If you make the sound go thru normal mixer/speakers you'll get a buzzy bad sound.
Sometimes I even use a Zakk Wilde Overdrive..it works great, it magnifies the sound alot..but in my opinion it works better for synth ( Triton or Nord Lead ).

Thanks Berto, (is that the first electro? Can't find one on Mercatino or anywhere..)
I think I'm going to buy a korg new cx3... the hardest part is that there aren't so many around here to give a try, but I have limited budget and the only other solution is roland vk8m. Maybe I'll run it through my Hughes&Kettner amp and see what comes out.. I quickly tried just the electro3 from the Pathosray keyboard player, I'm not interested in mellotron and e.pianos so far and it didn't impress me that much (and it's not that cheap of course). P.S: I'm thinking right now to sell my Trinity Plus.. anyone in north Italy interested?

Actually it's the Electro2,I did buy it used in L.A. way way cheeper than in italy. As usual.
I dunno how Pathosray keys player is used to do but sometime ago I was asked to join that band..I don't like that kind of progressive, so I refused and honestly I don't understand how that kind of sound could come useful into their tunes.. As I told u once, for me Electro+ booster analogic efx + equalizer thru a valve ampli = killer B3/clavinet sound.

..oh this is quite funny. I'm in a cousin band of Pathosray (their bass player Fabio is our singer now) Mirrormaze (and we're quite different as well). We went to their concert in April and he got onstage the electro3 for b3 and mellotron as far as I know...their second album is good imho because of shorter songs, more focused.
