Keyboard counting or feeling?

Hey Derek considering all the different time signatures in PX and that some keyboard parts aren't exactly in either the up or down beats, do you count or feel where you play? Don't know if I expressed my self correctly.

derek, great playing on quantum, love your sounds, spherical leads or
very "basic" waveforms which you somehow make sounding musical..
which is very difficult.
almost holdswordish feel on Snuff and Poland, or i'm just hearing things..
